Because she was so certain the baby was to be a boy, Sripriya said she had not thought about any names for a girl. Big sister had a suggestion: Dora, the namesake of one of her favorite cartoon characters, "Dora the Explorer.'' Her mother joked Ramya must be psychic. She was the only one who seemed certain the baby would be a girl and arrive in time for her birthday. Visibly excited and a bit overwhelmed by the hubbub surrounding her baby sister, Ramya climbed up next to her mother to cuddle. Snapping pictures of his newly enlarged family, Ramesh's face was aglow. His wife teased that in the delivery room he was a bit less poised. She said he "nearly fainted'' when the baby arrived. "When the baby came, I had to take a five minute break,'' Ramesh, 34, admitted.
