What's in the water in Iowa?

Des Moines' Iowa Methodist Medical Center is experiencing a unique baby boom: Eleven sets of twins have been delivered this month.

There's no explanation for the baby boom; nurses at the hospital say they've never seen anything like it and for them, the challenge is not in keeping the babies healthy, it's keeping their names straight.

Girls outnumber boys in the sets of multiples; of the 22 babies, 16 are girls and only 8 are boys.

Fathers of some of the sets of twins say they've been joking about taking the act on the road.

Statistics say couples have only a three percent chance of having twins.

It's Grace and favour as Oliver's army rules

But giving your baby a popular name can have its drawbacks.Michelle Hewgill, a full-time mum, from Intake, Sheffield, said: "Me and my husband Martin called our daughter Poppy because she was born at the beginning of July, and we were driving past a poppy field and thought it would be a unique name."But two years later Jamie Oliver called his little girl it too, so now half the kids have that name! It doesn't surprise me that Poppy is in the top 10, but I wish it wasn't!"The couple got around the problem with their second child – a boy called Elijah. "We chose it because we like quirky names," said Michelle. The top six boys' names in Sheffield are all in the national top 10 ut Sheffielders don't seem to rate the names Charlie, Alfie, Daniel or James – preferring instead George, Samuel and Joseph.

Heath and Deborah Campbell

For some reason, many parents follow baby-name fads, which ultimately result in a glut of kids sharing the same, worn-out names.

Our heroes this month are trailblazers for parents who want their child to be the only kid on their block or on the entire planet, for that matter with a certain moniker. After all, knowing that he or she is unique and that no one else in the world shares his or her name could help boost a youngsters feeling of importance and self-esteem.

Heath and Deborah Campbell, of Hunterdon County, New Jersey, named their son Adolf Hitler Campbell. Their daughters are JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell. Its all part of their master plan to raise superior children.

The Campbells gained notoriety last month after the ShopRite supermarket in Greenwich Township refused to make a cake with little Adolf Hitlers name on it for his third birthday.
